About The Role

Built for the world’s leading banks, lenders, and capital providers, Setpoint is the critical infrastructure powering transactions like buying a house, applying for a mortgage, getting a small business loan, or refinancing a credit card. As a Strategic Finance Associate, you will partner directly with the VP of Finance and play a crucial role in driving company-wide initiatives. Your responsibilities will span from shaping financial strategy to supporting day-to-day operations, ensuring that the business always has the right information and insights.

What You’ll Do

• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Product, and Engineering to ensure alignment between financial goals and day-to-day execution.
• Drive financial visibility by owning reporting, forecasting, KPI setting, and board-ready communications.
• Lead strategic projects that require both financial rigor and operational follow-through — from building models to coordinating implementation across teams.
• Step into critical gaps in company operations: streamline processes, improve internal systems, and ensure execution on key initiatives.
• Act as a force multiplier for leadership by tackling high-priority projects (strategic finance, operations, or special projects) and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

Setpoint provides purpose-built capital and technology to asset-backed borrowers and lenders. Our platform is the funding operating system for originators: it verifies and stores documents; automates critical calculations and compliance reporting; and digitizes assets like homes or cars. Pay

$135,000 - $145,000 OTE dependent on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications.

We have offices in Austin, TX, New York City, NY, and Salt Lake City, UT with hybrid roles based in these locations and an expectation of two days a week in office (Tuesdays and Thursdays).
