Strategic Equipment Sourcing Management
About the role
The role involves team management, talent development, supplier relationship management, and ensuring cost-effective procurement of equipment that meets our technical and operations requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop fab equipment sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives, technology roadmaps, and capacity plans
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and finance teams to align sourcing decisions with technical requirements and budgets
- Lead end-to-end negotiation processes with equipment vendors to align capital investment with company growth, capacity expansion, and technology roadmap
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships with key equipment vendors to ensure alignment on business objectives
- Lead and inspire a cross-functional sourcing team, setting a clear vision, strategic directions, and measurable goals aligned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering, or related field
- 12+ years of experience in procurement or process engineering (e.g., lithography, etch, deposition, or metrology) within the semiconductor industry
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing, cross-functional teamwork, and technical understanding of semiconductor manufacturing
- Excellent communication and project management skills
