About the role
Initio Sphere is a private capital ecosystem connecting fund managers, investors, and operators with high-quality deal flow, analyst support, and institutional infrastructure across private markets. This role is for Strategic Deal Sourcing Associates who will identify, evaluate, and submit high-potential investment opportunities to our investor and fund manager network.
Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and submit high-potential investment opportunities to Initio Sphere’s investor and sponsor network
- Provide strategic context: asset type, structure, economics, and investment thesis
- Coordinate initial introductions between deal principals and capital partners
- Support early diligence handoff (analysts handle financial modeling, underwriting, and valuation)
- Earn performance-based compensation for deals that close
Requirements
- Strategic access to deal flow, including operators, intermediaries, brokers, advisors, and networked specialists
- No responsibility for financial modeling, underwriting, raising capital, preparing investment memoranda, or providing investment advice
- Eligible to submit opportunities across various deal types (commercial real estate, private equity, operating businesses, structured investments)
- Approved based on experience, sourcing credibility, and strategic insight
Qualifications
- Experience in deal sourcing and evaluation
- Strategic insight and understanding of investment opportunities
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with capital partners
Skills
- Strategic thinking and deal evaluation skills
- Effective communication and networking abilities
- Understanding of private market investment structures and economics
