About the role
As a Strategic Customer Success Manager (SCSM) at Jamf, you will act as a dedicated resource and owner for a strategic book of large educational accounts, ensuring successful Apple deployment within the Jamf portfolio of products. This role drives customer engagement, adoption, and retention across your book of business. The SCSM works within the Customer Success Department and acts as the Account Owner, supporting the entire Jamf Product Suite.
You will forge deep relationships with customers’ senior leaders, decision makers, and stakeholders, driving proactive engagements, business reviews, and best practices to ensure measurable value from their Jamf solution. The SCSM owns the customer relationship throughout their entire journey—from onboarding to value realization—working cross-functionally to advocate for customer needs and provide feedback representing the voice of the customer.
This role requires advanced knowledge of the Jamf platform, customer environments, and key technical workflows. Candidates near a Jamf office may be expected to work periodically in-office or at a collaborative work location for certain events. Remote candidates may work off-site.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage a portfolio of high-touch, high-value, strategic accounts, ensuring customers achieve their desired business outcomes through proactive engagement.
- Partner with customers and executive stakeholders to understand critical goals, challenges, and key performance indicators.
- Act as the voice of the customer internally, partnering cross-departmentally to advocate for customer needs.
- Drive adoption and retention by identifying success metrics and building strategic plans aligned with business goals.
- Foster trusted relationships with key decision makers by delivering expert recommendations on best practices, workflows, and technical solutions.
- Establish and manage Centers of Excellence within customer organizations to drive enterprise-wide success.
- Lead recurring business reviews with customer stakeholders and executives to track progress, discuss future vision, and highlight growth opportunities.
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of the Apple ecosystem and Jamf’s solutions to guide customers on optimal deployment and adoption strategies.
- Analyze customer health metrics and implement risk mitigation strategies to retain and grow your book of business.
- Identify and facilitate upsell or expansion opportunities in collaboration with account sales representatives.
- Demonstrate relentless commitment as a customer advocate by promoting customer needs and issues cross-departmentally.
- Track and record progress on customer goals and value metrics through ongoing engagement.
Requirements
- 5+ years in Customer Success or Account Management within a SaaS environment. (Required)
- Proven experience managing strategic educational accounts with global complexity. (Required)
- Expertise in Apple ecosystems and enterprise IT workflows. (Required)
- Experience in IT, cybersecurity, or endpoint management solutions. (Preferred)
- Technical acumen in MDM, Apple Business Manager, or security frameworks. (Preferred)

Pay
At Jamf, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is set within a defined range, varying by hiring location. The national pay transparency range for this role is $65,200—$149,360 USD, accounting for geographic differences. Individual pay within this range depends on role scope, skills, experience, and qualifications. For sales and commission-based roles, On-Target Earnings (OTE) include base salary plus estimated commission based on achieving 100% of performance targets.
