About the role

The Strategic Advocacy Staff Attorney is responsible for providing legal support to the advocacy team in developing and implementing strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis to inform advocacy strategies
• Prepare legal documents and briefs for advocacy purposes
• Collaborate with advocacy team members to develop and implement strategic initiatives
• Provide legal guidance and support to staff and partners

Requirements

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to practice law in New York State
• At least 3 years of relevant legal experience
• Strong analytical and writing skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
