Strategic Advisor, Benchmarking - Part-Time
About the role
Supports the CMR International (CMR) team in driving deeper, in-person dialogue with customers around benchmarking data and advisory services.
Plays a critical part in shaping the evolution of membership and advisory offerings by delivering high-impact research, strategic insight, and expert consultation to customers and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Leverage senior leadership network to identify and secure new business opportunities, effectively convincing leadership teams of the CMR value provided by our membership programmes.
- Lead consultations with key pharmaceutical clients to facilitate deep-dive discussions around the CMR benchmarking data and programme membership.
- Act as a thought partner to the CMR team to shape the future of Global R&D and Clinical programmes.
- Contribute to CMR’s external profile by generating content, including white papers, articles, and presentations, that reinforces our position as a leader within R&D benchmarking.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant scientific or business field
- 10 Years of Relevant leadership experience in portfolio management, clinical operations, or benchmarking within a Top 20 Pharmaceutical company or a Top 5 global consultancy
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
Skills and Accomplishments
- Master's or advanced degree (e.g., MSc, PhD, MBA)
- Consultative mindset to navigate ambiguous and complex structures
- Proven track record of engaging with and influencing C-suite and senior leadership stakeholders to communicate complex value propositions and drive business growth
- Demonstrated ability to translate data into high-impact industry analysis, with a portfolio of professional presentations or peer-reviewed journal articles that have shaped industry discourse
- Advanced skills in interpreting large-scale benchmarking datasets to provide nuanced strategic insights that address the most pressing challenges in life sciences R&D and operations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Benefits
The expected base salary for this position is $60,000 USD per year. This role is eligible for (incentive or bonus) earnings. Individual pay is based upon experience, education, skill and ability, expertise, and relevant factors.
