About the role
The Strategic Accounts Manager at Mohawk Industries is responsible for managing and building relationships with key accounts to drive sales. This role involves managing current accounts, pursuing new accounts, and working with internal teams to convert prospects into customer accounts.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Pursue major account prospect opportunities regionally, nationally, and/or globally by collaborating with sales leadership and field sales team members to convert prospects into customer accounts.
- Address customer concerns and work with internal teams, including marketing, product, and supply chain to manage accounts and close sales.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to develop strategic account plans to obtain and/or grow account sales.
- Manage and own requests for information, requests for proposals, and other account requests by ensuring deadlines are met and issues are resolved.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics relevant to strategic accounts and utilize market insights to recommend initiatives that enhance sales.
- Assist field sales employees with sales strategies and presentations to obtain new clients and grow sales.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- 6-8 years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
