About the role

This position is located in Elk Grove, CA. The Strategic Account Rental Coordinator's primary responsibility is customer relations with a group of designated accounts and fellow sales representatives. They assist with the full rental and sale cycle, fleet management, and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Take calls and requests for rental equipment on behalf of designated accounts
  • Coordinate and track designated accounts daily equipment pickups and returns, coordinating loop deliveries with dispatching
  • Run reservation, delinquent, and other reports to monitor designated accounts equipment availability and facilitate smooth operations
  • Cookordinate efforts with branch staff, dispatch, and outside salesperson to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for timely charge back of rental fleet recovery charges and tire repairs for designated accounts
  • Be highly proficient in using all software pertaining to rental operations including: Telogis, Vision Link, Texada, I Rental, Outlook, Inspct, Solartrak and others, as well as simple understanding of the MS Office Suite products
  • Grow existing rental business by establishing strong relations with designated customer base
  • Utilize jobsite forms and/or customer processes to accurately complete rental agreements
  • Ensure all contracts are efficiently executed completely and accurately
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

  • Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • One to two years’ construction equipment sales and rental experience and/or training
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills & Abilities

  • Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals
  • Present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, or customers
  • Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, and volume
  • Be very multitasking oriented
  • Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Develop business relationships with customers as needed to generate rental agreements
  • Able to work in office environment daily
  • Patience, adaptability, and strong relationship building

Compensation

Pay Range: $27.00 - $30.00 Hourly Pay Range Dependent on Knowledge, Skills, and Ability to perform the responsibilities of the job.
