Strategic Account Manager, US Global Selling Team
About the role
The role involves working with large Amazon US Sellers to help them expand their online retail business to Amazon websites in Europe, Asia, South America and Australia. Responsibilities include building and cultivating strong working relationships with sellers, identifying decision makers, aligning them to take actions required to expand their business globally, and partnering with US Services Providers for tax and product compliance.
Responsibilities
- Work with Seller's leadership team to identify and align decision makers for global expansion.
- Guide sellers through the step-by-step process for launching on Amazon's global websites.
- Leverage Amazon Quick Suite AI tools to analyze Seller performance data and identify growth opportunities.
- Earn seller's trust and foster strong relationships to align them on growth opportunities.
- Prepare and conduct monthly business reviews with CXO stakeholders to track progress and address roadblocks.
- Collaborate with other account managers and program teams to share best practices and drive growth initiatives.
- Analyze large datasets using Excel and internal BI tools to identify trends, diagnose conversion gaps, and produce actionable reports.
- Partner with product teams to translate seller feedback and field intelligence into feature requirements and platform improvements.
Requirements
Must have 2+ years of B2B sales experience, experience building customer relationships, and 1+ years of using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze large sets of data. Experience with sales targets, business development, and driving customer satisfaction is preferred. Must have experience managing customer relationships, working with large, complex enterprise customers, and experience with QuickSight dashboard and visual creation. Experience analyzing large datasets and translating them to actionable business insight is also preferred.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of full sales cycle, technology sales or equivalent business development, sales engineering/consulting or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, applications, and Salesforce.
Skills
Must have strong negotiation skills, the ability to work across major functional areas, and the ability to balance seller-facing account management with program-level thinking. Must be able to thrive in an ambiguous environment where developing, evolving, and implementing business strategies to deliver results is essential.
