About the role
The Commercial team at H1 plays a crucial role in creating a future where every doctor interaction is informed by the best healthcare information. Our mission is to provide a platform that unlocks groundbreaking medical insights and drives optimal patient outcomes through AI and data technology.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery conversations, product demonstrations, and other sales activities to qualify expansion opportunities and communicate the value of H1's Medical product suite.
- Build trusted, consultative relationships with mid-level stakeholders across Medical Affairs, MSLs, Medical Information, Medical Strategy, and Commercial functions, serving as a knowledgeable and reliable point of contact throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Execute multi-stakeholder account strategies that drive retention, renewal readiness, and expansion — identifying and progressing ARR and Services upsell opportunities across business units, therapeutic areas, and geographies.
- Support Executive Business Reviews by contributing account health insights, product utilization data, and strategic expansion narratives that demonstrate H1's value and reinforce long-term partnership.
- Proactively monitor accounts for risk signals — including low adoption, stakeholder changes, or competitive activity — and develop and execute mitigation plans to protect against churn.
- Become a deep product specialist in H1's Medical suite, staying current on new features, use cases, and the evolving landscape of Medical Affairs data needs to credibly advise customers and internal teams.
- Translate customer feedback and unmet needs to shape H1's roadmap for Medical-focused solutions.
- Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene and accurate pipeline and revenue forecasting for your accounts, providing timely deal progression updates to leadership.
- Partner with other members of the Account Team (Account Director, Customer Success Managers, and Implementation Managers) to ensure seamless onboarding, ongoing engagement, and support for escalations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in B2B enterprise SaaS account management or sales, or hands-on experience within Medical and/or Commercial Teams within a top Pharma company.
- Familiarity with Medical Affairs workflows, including KOL identification and engagement, congress and publication intelligence, MSL territory management, and clinical landscape mapping.
- Experience managing renewal cycles and driving expansion ARR and Services revenue within complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise accounts, preferred.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with demonstrated ability to develop trusted partnerships at the mid-level stakeholder layer and above.
- Comfortable conducting discovery conversations, product demos, and value-based selling conversations independently.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, Implementation, and Legal teams to manage account health and complex situations.
- Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites approximately 20% of the time.
Pay
$115,000 to $135,000 base salary per year, based on experience, plus variable commission, based on performance, in addition to equity.
