About the role
We're seeking a Strategic Account Executive to drive new logo acquisition. Key responsibilities include identifying, qualifying, and closing sales pipeline, aligning with partners, and collaborating with internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Proactively develop and execute comprehensive account/territory plans
- Close business to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
- Understand and communicate the value of Obsidian Security to customers
- Work collaboratively with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Customer Support
- Forecast and manage pipeline accurately
- Participate in sales enablement training
Requirements
- 5+ years of enterprise sales experience
- Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods, and techniques
- Extensive understanding of Obsidian Security offering and its value to customers
- Ability to maintain and manage existing client relationships and accounts
- Strong prospecting, deal qualification, and POV management skills
- Self-starter with strong ability to understand customer business issues and needs
- Team player with collaboration skills
- Knowledge of market trends, competitor analysis, and conditions impacting customers
- Ability to learn quickly and articulate value of Obsidian product
Qualifications
- Able to maintain and manage existing client relationships and accounts
- Strong ability to understand a customer's business issues and needs and be able to articulate and map back value to a solution
- Strong prospecting skills, deal qualification, and POV management skills, leading to acquisition of new business
- Self-starter that creates and maintains a sales pipeline by capturing accurate and complete information in selected CRM databases including activity, closing, project forecast, close ratios and market intelligence

Base Salary Range: $164,000 USD - $175,000 USD
