EvenUp is on a mission to close the justice gap using technology and AI. We empower personal injury lawyers and victims to get the justice they deserve. Our products enable law firms to secure faster settlements, higher payouts, and better outcomes for victims injured through no fault of their own in vehicle collisions, accidents, natural disasters, and more. We are one of the fastest-growing vertical SaaS companies in history, backed by top VCs including Bessemer Venture Partners, Bain Capital Ventures, SignalFire, and Lightspeed.

About the role

We’re seeking a West Coast-based Strategic Account Director to partner with our most impactful, high-touch enterprise accounts in key regional markets. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-growth environments, enjoys building deep customer partnerships, and excels at on-site account engagement, roadmap partnership, and revenue growth planning. You’ll drive measurable impact, help scale foundational customer success structures, and shape the way EvenUp serves its most strategic clients.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Growth & Retention: Prospect, develop, and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities and contract renewals.
  • Strategic Account Planning: Partner with EvenUp product and executive teams to develop and execute long-term success plans aligned with customer objectives and business outcomes.
  • Own High-Value Accounts: Lead a portfolio of 5-10 key accounts, ensuring they receive personalized, high-touch support and strategic guidance.
  • On-site Client Engagement: Be present with clients at least once a week—build trust, understand evolving goals, and ensure alignment.
  • Outcome-Focused Advocacy: Advocate for customer needs internally, providing insights to Product, Finance, and Engineering to improve offerings and align on goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Strategic Customer Success or Key Account Management, preferably in high-growth B2B SaaS startups.
  • Proven track record managing a few large, complex accounts with $1M+ in ARR or equivalent scope.
  • Consultative approach: skilled at working with every level of the business—executive stakeholders, operations leaders, contributors—to understand their goals and deliver outcomes.
  • Hands-on and autonomous: comfortable navigating ambiguity and taking ownership without needing constant direction.
  • Collaborative and internally influential: excellent cross-functional communication, ensuring customer feedback is woven into product and service enhancements.
  • Weekly local travel: comfortable engaging with regular in-person meetings, drop-ins, and trainings within a two-hour drive.

Benefits

  • Choice of medical, dental, and vision insurance plans for you and your family.
  • Additional insurance coverage options for life, accident, or critical illness.
  • Flexible paid time off, sick leave, short-term and long-term disability.
  • 10 US observed holidays, and Canadian statutory holidays by province.
  • Home office stipend.
  • 401(k) for US-based employees and RRSP for Canada-based employees.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • Local in-person meet-up program with hubs in San Francisco and Toronto.
