About the role
BGE, Inc. is a nationwide civil engineering consulting firm offering diverse career opportunities in a wide range of disciplines for public and private infrastructure projects. We are seeking a Stormwater, Municipal & Utilities Engineering Project Manager for Public Works in Tampa, FL.
This role involves the delivery of a wide range of municipal public infrastructure projects, including water, stormwater, wastewater, and drainage systems. Responsibilities include planning and designing water and wastewater systems (modeling, pipeline, lift stations, and treatment facilities) as well as the design and analysis of drainage and stormwater systems. You will independently perform engineering assignments for municipal, residential, and commercial developments, including regulatory permitting.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida required.
- 5+ years of experience in public works/municipal engineering environment with water, sewer, and drainage projects.
- Previous project management experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Civil 3D.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Wastewater treatment design experience.
- Community Development District (CDD) experience.
