About the role
We are seeking a Stormwater Construction Technician (Heavy Equipment/Concrete) to play a key role in stormwater infrastructure projects. This position involves constructing, maintaining, and repairing stormwater infrastructure, concrete structures, underground utilities, and stormwater basins.
Responsibilities
- Construct, maintain, and repair stormwater infrastructure, concrete structures, underground utilities, and stormwater basins.
- Operate hand-held and power tools, as well as heavy construction equipment (skid loader, excavator, dozer).
- Pour and finish concrete, including rebar installation and repairs to concrete structures.
- Travel Monday-Friday with 85% overnight travel required (lodging expenses, $68 daily per diem, and a company vehicle provided).
- Document field observations and learn construction and regulatory compliance techniques.
- Ensure safe performance of project work.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of construction experience.
- Experience with heavy equipment (skid loader, small excavator).
- Experience with repairing concrete structures, rebar, and concrete finishing.
- Prior experience with repairing and installing underground piping and detention/retention basins is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent out-of-town regional travel (85% or more travel required).
- Comfortable using pickups and equipment trailers while understanding DOT requirements.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
- Able to perform manual labor, lift and carry 60 pounds, work in confined spaces, and under inclement weather conditions.

Pay
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Full-Time, 40-55 hours per week.
