Job Summary

Manages stockroom inventory and ensures products are stored properly according to food safety standards. Receives merchandise and maintains standard inventory levels set by management.

Responsibilities

• Maintains temperature controlled environment for food safety purposes
• Receives deliveries and verifies product orders
• Maintains clean and organized storage areas
• FOLLOWS THE FIFO (FIRST IN, FIRST OUT) METHOD FOR INVENTORY RECEIVING, STORAGE AND USAGE
• TRANSPORTS SUPPLIES AND COMPLETES REQUISITIONS
• ASSISTS OPERATIONS AS NEEDED
• ORGANIZES INVENTORY UPON DELIVERY AND ISSUES TO SPECIFIED LOCATIONS

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of relevant experience in warehousing or inventory control

• ServSafe Certified

Proposed Salary

The salary range for this position is $15.00 to $16.50 based on relevant experience. Comprehensive benefits to include Medical, Dental, Vision, 13 paid holidays, vacation, generous retirement plans, tuition waiver, wellness options, and much more!

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
• Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
• Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
• Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
