The Opportunity This role supports maintenance and operations by managing the storeroom, inventory, and material flow for maintenance and production teams. The position ensures accurate receiving, stocking, tracking, and distribution of parts and supplies while maintaining compliance with safety, SQF, and company standards. This role is critical to supporting equipment uptime, inventory accuracy, and efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process orders, returns, and work order materials; restock items to proper JDE locations.
- Perform and submit cycle counts and inventory updates to leadership.
- Receive incoming freight, verify packing lists, and distribute materials to appropriate departments.
- Process receipts in ARIBA and JDE systems and report receipts to maintenance and management teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and submit packing lists and receivers to Accounting daily.
- Notify appropriate personnel of expedited or special order deliveries.
- Label, stock, and kit materials for work orders as required.
- Process daily receiving logs and process purchase orders.
- Stock production cabinets and issue materials to departments as needed.
- Assist maintenance and production teams by locating parts and assigning materials to work orders.
- Support tracking of labor and materials for work orders.

- Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards within the parts storeroom.
- Cook back to vendor items, including RMA processing and credits.
- Pick up or deliver parts for repair as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs.
What You Need To Succeed
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively across departments and support plant‑wide operations.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and material flow (preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced computer skills, including Windows‑based systems and the ability to learn purchasing systems (JDE, ARIBA).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory and documentation.
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
