Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Fills routine and emergency orders and delivers to appropriate department.
- Stocks shelves and rotates stock items, taking note of any listed expiration dates.
- Assists Inventory Control Clerk by noting stock items that are approaching the reorder point.
- Assists Receiving Clerk in keeping Warehouse/Storeroom clean and safe.
- Assists Receiving Clerk in properly receiving merchandise.
- Responsible for maintaining par-level assigned on Nursing Units.
- Responsible for labeling supplies received before putting on shelf.
- Responsible for maintaining supplies in the Omnicell cabinet.
- Affords assistance to Courier when needed.
- Maintains sterile supplies with care to maintain sterility.
Education
- High School Diploma/GED required.
Additional Experience
- Preferred.
Personal Qualities
- Well organized with attention to detail and stable work habits.
- Personal contact with all levels of hospital personnel, requires a person with pleasant personality, tactful approach, and a willingness to accomplish the job in a cheerful and helpful attitude.
