Storeperson

Wittenbaker Engineering Services, part of Motion, operates a diverse manufacturing company. Our quality products are used in challenging Australian mining, oil & gas, power generation, marine, and rail environments. Based in our modern workshop, we require a skilled Storeperson to join our strong, growing, and diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming goods
• Manage consumables stocks as required
• Inspect finished items according to job traveler and ensure a high-quality standard
• Assist in pick packing and dispatch, ensuring only the highest quality product and packaging leaves the workshop
• Soft seal and mark items if required
• Print labels and attach to goods
• Pick up and deliver items
• Monitor lifting operations up to 5 tonne
• Inspect lifting equipment daily and complete reports within schedule
• Perform company vehicle and forklift inspections & pre-starts
• Ensure a safe and clean workshop
• Assist in other areas and personnel as directed by the Workshop Manager

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience within the mechanical manufacturing industry or in a similar industry
• Experience using ERP systems
• Manual driver’s license essential
• Forklift ticket essential
• Rigging ticket would be advantageous
• Able to operate electrical hand tools
• Organizational skills essential
• Fast, efficient, reliable, and productive
• Fast learning ability
• Excellent communication in English
• Valid working visa / Australia work rights essential
