About the role

Koniag IT Systems, LLC (KITS), a Koniag Government Services (KGS) company, is seeking a Store Worker I to support KITS and our government customer. Responsibilities

  • Manually loading or unloading freight cars, trucks, or other transporting devices
  • Unpacking, shelving, or placing items in proper storage locations
  • Transporting goods by hand truck, cart, or wheel barrow
  • Submitting to the COR, Alternate COR, and SSA management weekly reports detailing the number of notices and cards delivered to the designated presort vendor

Requirements

  • Knowledge of modern operating systems, networking, and MS Office software
  • Knowledge of clerical and reporting skills
  • Excellent attention-to-detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in high-pressure situations
  • Ability to listen effectively and express thoughts and opinions clearly and concisely
  • Ability to work well both alone and in highly structured team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communications capabilities with good interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds or more

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of personal computer experience
  • Some higher education experience or successful completion of related programs in data processing and computer operations (preferred)
  • Experience in business mailroom, print operations, and/or mail sorting experience (preferred)
  • Experience with using loading and maneuvering equipment safely and effectively (preferred)

Pay

Competitive compensation

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm daily. (Hours may vary based on workload and candidates must be flexible)
