Store Team Member-Daytime/Weekday (Cashier, Stocker, Animal Care)

About the role

We are currently looking for daytime Team Members for mostly weekdays and some weekends if available. This role offers flexible schedules and career advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, neighborly service, including helping neighbors select pet products and educating them on pet care.
• Assist with stocking shelves, ringing up purchases, and carrying items to neighbors’ cars.
• Care for in-store pets by cleaning habitats, feeding, and handling animals.
• Specialize in areas such as cashiering, stocking, or pet care as needed.
• Engage with neighbors and maintain a positive attitude in all interactions.
• Act as backup support for team members when extra help is needed.

Requirements

• Passion for people and pets, with a willingness to learn about animal care and products.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting 40-65 lbs. and standing for long periods.
• Must be at least 16 years old and pass a drug screening (in applicable states).
