Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional, neighborly service: helping neighbors select toys, reviewing ingredient labels, fitting harnesses, educating on bird ownership.
• Stocking shelves and ringing up purchases.
• Feeding furry pets and keeping cages clean.
• Processing neighbors’ purchases as a cashier with accuracy and efficiency.
• Providing Preferred Pet Club membership information.
• Safely unloading delivery trucks and carrying bags to cars.
• Providing care for pets in store: cleaning habitats, feeding, handling animals.
• Answering neighbor’s questions on animal care.

Qualifications

• Support teammates by acting as back‑up when extra help is needed.
• Be knowledgeable about animals and products to provide outstanding service.
• Be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must pass a drug screening (in applicable states) and be 16 years or older.
• The role is physically demanding, requiring heavy lifting (40‑65 lbs.) and standing for long periods.
