About the role
As a Store Team Lead at Wild Fork, you will support store leadership by overseeing daily operations, delegating tasks, monitoring team performance, and ensuring store objectives are met. You will foster collaboration, bring innovative strategies to increase productivity, and provide a Personal Chef experience to all guests while training sales leaders to do the same.
Responsibilities
- Brand Experience:
- Deliver best-in-class customer service and ensure all team members are knowledgeable and confident in providing the Personal Chef shopping experience.
- Become a subject matter expert in all product categories, programs, and cascade this knowledge to team members.
- Act as a Brand Ambassador, demonstrating passion for people and customers.
- Handle customer complaints with determination and partner with Customer Service and QA as outlined in SOPs.
- Ensure all employees adhere to company policies and guidelines.
- Leading People:
- Conduct on-the-job training for new hires, ensuring they complete onboarding, online learning, and product knowledge training.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager (SSL) to schedule 2 weeks of shadowing and training for new joiners.
- Lead continuous training programs (e.g., Chew on This, Wild Chef, Product Training) and promote participation in efficient processes.
- Attend marketing and new product training calls, ensuring all employees receive detailed information on campaigns and events.
- Evaluate employee performance with the SSL and identify training needs.
- Supervise and motivate Sales Leaders to perform their best with humility.
- Operational Excellence:
- Assist the SSL in planning and implementing local marketing strategies to attract customers.
- Coordinate daily customer service operations, including sales processes, orders, and inventory.
- Monitor company goals, KPIs, and store performance to drive sales results.
- Track progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives.
- Serve as SSL’s support in their absence, overseeing sales, KPIs, inventory, money handling, and operational tasks.
- Maintain store inventory and communicate product availability to the team and customers.
- Execute other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
- 2+ years of customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or restaurant (required).
- Minimum 1-2 years of leadership or management experience in retail, grocery, or high-volume customer service.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
- Enjoy interacting with customers and team members.
- Ability to multitask while remaining attentive to customer needs and business flexibility.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Work with integrity, collaborate with the SSL, and respect others' opinions.
- Take initiative in implementing new ideas.
Skills
- Proficiency in systems such as SAP, Order Management Systems, and Microsoft Office (preferred).
Physical Demands
- Physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force.
- Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures (e.g., walk-in freezers).
- Stand or walk for up to 8-10 hours.
- Frequent movement within the store to access various departments and products.

Pay
$21/hour + Monthly Bonus Potential.
Schedule
