Store Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Assist neighbors in choosing pet products
• Show customers how to care for their pets
• Engage with the store team and reinforce daily operational procedures
• Provide leadership coverage and manage the store when team leaders are offsite
• Perform back office tasks such as making signs and updating records
• Involvement in store recruiting, onboarding, and team member development
• Communicate opportunities for improving community engagement or store performance
• Act as a team member when the manager is not present
• Willingness to perform nail trims on pets

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of retail experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong sales and customer service skills
• Ability to operate equipment including a forklift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexible scheduling and reliable transportation
• Pass drug screening (where allowed by law)
• Must be 18 years or older

Pay

Pay increases and pet care training programs are available.

Schedule

Shifts vary and may require flexible hours.
