Responsibilities

• Help customers enjoy more sports and outdoor activities by making store visits easier, friendlier, and more productive.
• Support customers in sales, cashier, merchandising, and receiving work, giving a broad view of store operations.
• Move where the store and its customers need support most—helping find products, completing checkout, preparing merchandise for the sales floor, keeping pricing and signage accurate.
• Maintain merchandise organization and store readiness to serve customers quickly during high‑volume seasons.
• Collaborate with store team members across cashier, merchandising, receiving, and sales functions; communicate clearly and follow through to keep a welcoming, organized store.
• Connect directly with customers, listen to understand needs, and use store and product knowledge to guide them.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous related work experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and adapt to a wide range of processes and procedures.
• Engaging customer service skills supported by effective listening and speaking.
• Basic math skills and ability to understand instructions through reading and writing.
• Proficiency using a handheld or desktop computer, point‑of‑sale equipment, and a telephone.
