Store Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Process freight and assist with price changes/markdowns.
• Balance register according to company policy and handle all cash, checks, and credit card transactions correctly.
• Call out prices for customers during transactions and bag merchandise efficiently.
• Obtain management approval for returns, voids, and checks as needed.
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Provide excellent customer service, including greeting customers, adhering to fitting room policies, and processing transactions promptly.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag.
• Assist management in merchandising the sales floor based on stock levels and perform additional tasks as requested.
• Explain exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions.
• Support Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting incidents, and following operational policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Proficiency in mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
