Store PUD Courier

Position Summary

Under general supervision, the Pick Up & Delivery (PUD) provides customer service activities related to picking up and delivering orders to and from FedEx Office stores and customers' places of business.

Responsibilities

• Drive the company vehicle to perform pick-up/delivery service for FedEx Office stores and customers
• Receive daily route information from a centralized dispatcher via a company provided phone
• Operate company vehicle according to applicable motor vehicle regulations, company policy, and auto insurance guidelines
• Conduct regular servicing and cleaning procedures for the vehicle
• Document duties performed in pick-up/delivery logs and vehicle maintenance logs
• Maintain quality service by providing efficient and professional delivery service, answering customer questions, resolving issues, and maintaining polite and caring interactions
• Perform additional duties within the store during non-delivery times as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• At least 21 years old and have a minimum of two years of driving experience
• Valid and current driver’s license
• Comply with any specialized regulatory or licensing requirements, as determined by geographic location and/or work assignment
• Meet and maintain FedEx Office Motor Vehicle Requirements, to be audited annually
• Meet FedEx Office employment qualifications in force at time of hiring
• Meet transfer requirements as outlined in the Team Member Handbook

Essential Functions

• Stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods
• Move and lift 55 pounds
• Bend/twist at the waist and knees
• Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members
• Work with minimal supervision
• Report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support FedEx Office business
