About the role
The Store Production Team Member plays a crucial role in creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This position supports the mission of Savers / Value Village, which champions reuse and inspires a future where secondhand is second nature.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Manage inventory by sorting, tagging, and organizing merchandise.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Support the donation process by accepting and processing donations.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of retail operations and customer service principles.
Qualifications
- Experience in a retail or customer service environment is preferred.
