Responsibilities
- Unloading/loading household appliances into/out of trailers using a hand dolly
- Loading appliances into various vehicles for retail customers which involves lifting appliances with a co-worker
- Cleaning appliances
- Handling freight properly to avoid damage
- Operating 2-wheel hand dolly and pallet jack
- Help maintain a clean warehouse and showroom
Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, reach, grasp, bend and stack appliances for up to 8 to 10 hours at a time (minus scheduled breaks)
- Stand for long periods of time and walk continuously
- Store staff may be required to lift up to 50 lbs on their own, lift more weight with the assistance of a co-worker, and safely maneuver heavy appliances (including large refrigerators & ranges) on their own, using only a 2 wheel dolly
- Must be available to work up to 48 hours a week, 9am - 5:30pm Monday through Thursday, 9am - 7pm Friday & Saturdays 9am - 4pm
- Must have a valid & current Pennsylvania Driver's License
