About the role

Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department and monitor all established quality assurance standards. Responsibilities

• Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department and monitor all established quality assurance standards.

• Handle stressful situations effectively.
• Provide accurate information about products to customers.
• Respond to customer inquiries and suggest products.
• Ensure product quality and freshness.
• Stock and label merchandise.
• Report discrepancies and unsafe conditions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and report issues.
• Notify management of accidents and safety risks.

Requirements

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Effective communication skills.

Qualifications

• Desired: Any retail experience, second language (speaking, reading and/or writing), promote trust and respect among associates, create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated.
