Responsibilities
- Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Deliver excellent customer service.

- Gain and maintain knowledge of products sold.
- Recommend grocery items to customers.
- Check product quality and adhere to food safety regulations.
- Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
- Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies.
- Display a positive attitude.
- Stay current with store promotions and policies.
- Adhere to safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
- Practice preventive maintenance and report equipment issues.
- Notify management of accidents and report safety risks/issues.
Qualifications
- Ability to handle stressful situations.
- Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
- Effective communication skills.
- Desired: Retail experience, second language proficiency (speaking, reading, writing).
