About the role

As a Store Manager at Sally Beauty, you will lead a team in the largest hair and beauty supplier worldwide, driving our mission to empower customers through self-expression. You’ll manage talent, inspire your team, and ensure every customer receives an unforgettable experience with custom-fit solutions for their hair and beauty needs.

You will oversee all store operations, including meeting or exceeding sales goals, controlling expenses, growing sales, and managing inventory. Your role includes protecting customers, associates, and store assets by enforcing safety and security procedures, as well as maintaining the store’s appearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Ensure the store meets or exceeds sales goals while maintaining budget and controlling expenses.
• Manage inventory and store operations efficiently.
• Enforce safety, security, and Company policies to protect customers, associates, and store assets.
• Maintain store appearance to high standards.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of customer service/retail sales experience.
• 1 year of previous sales management experience.
• Experience in operational, financial, and performance management.
• Cosmetology license is a plus but not required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for hair and beauty.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• Long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, and reaching.
• Recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
• Exposure to moving parts, carts, or machines, and occasional exposure to irritant chemicals or fumes.

Pay

Starting at $21 per hour, depending on experience.
