About the role

The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) role is a development-focused position aimed at preparing candidates for a CVS Store Manager role. The program includes self-paced, collaborative training over 16 weeks, combining virtual and hands-on learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively to support and lead your team.
• Perform customer care duties to provide high levels of service.
• Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth.
• Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Four-year college degree is preferred.
• Experience as a CVS Supervisor or retail management experience.
• Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs.

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $18.50 - $23.88 per hour or $38,700 - $45,408 annually for a full-time employee. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
