Store Manager (Full-Time)

About the role

The Store Manager oversees all store operations, including staffing, training, inventory management, sales, and customer service, ensuring the store runs efficiently and profitably.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate employees; manage performance and conduct regular meetings to promote safety and policies.
• Ensure proper staffing, opening, and closing procedures; personally open and close the store as needed.
• Analyze financial statements to identify trends, control expenses, and manage inventory to meet stock targets.
• Oversee merchandise presentation, signage, and pricing; maintain accurate inventory and prevent damages and shrinkage.
• Maintain cash handling integrity, security, and safety protocols; ensure a clean, organized, and secure environment.
• Provide superior customer service and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Complete required documentation and manage store tools and equipment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and merchandising practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret documents, perform mathematical calculations, and handle cash procedures.
• Experience in recruiting, legal compliance, and safety protocols; bilingual skills may be preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; management experience in retail preferred.

Physical & Work Environment

Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds. Use of retail tools and equipment; occasional ladder use; driving for store errands. Fast-paced setting with moderate noise; exposure to outdoor weather conditions occasionally.
