About the role
The Coffee Shop Manager oversees daily operations, including staff management, inventory control, financial performance, and exceptional customer service. This role demands strong leadership, operational excellence, and a commitment to fostering a positive team and customer experience.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Talent Development: Recruit, train, and mentor staff, providing ongoing coaching and addressing improvement areas. Build strong relationships and promote store events and community partnerships.
Operational Management: Monitor sales, manage budgets, control expenses, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Troubleshoot operational issues and maintain accurate records.
Quality & Customer Experience: Maintain high-quality standards for coffee and food preparation, implement customer feedback, and resolve complaints promptly. Promote brand values and enhance customer loyalty.
Requirements
Experience: 3+ years in retail or food & beverage management.
Skills: Proficiency with POS systems and scheduling software, strong budgeting and inventory management skills, excellent customer service, leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly, climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom.
