Store Manager Candidate

Role Overview Assist the Store Manager in implementing store processes, supervising staff, managing inventory, merchandising, and ensuring excellent customer service. This position serves as a developmental role for future Store Managers, focusing on operational tasks and leadership growth. Key Responsibilities Support recruitment, staffing, and employee development.Participate in merchandising, stocking, and presentation of products.Assist in inventory management, including damages, markdowns, and stock counts.Ensure store in-stock levels meet targets through proper ordering.Lead by example in delivering superior customer service.Follow company policies for cash handling, security, and safety.Assist with store opening and closing procedures.Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards.Review sales and expense reports to identify business trends and opportunities.Complete documentation accurately and timely. Qualifications & Skills Ability to interpret manuals, safety rules, and procedures.Proficiency in math, cash handling, and inventory practices.Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Problem-solving abilities and adaptability.Preferred: Bilingual Spanish skills and retail experience. Additional Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Experience in retail advantageous.Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 55 pounds, and perform manual tasks.Willingness to travel and operate in a fast-paced environment.
