Job Responsibilities/Tasks
- Maintains and improves customer service through reminders, training, and action plans.
- Greet customers and clinic patients, offer assistance, and model customer service best practices.
- Resolve customer complaints and assist with special needs.
- Supervise store and pharmacy operations, including opening/closing, shift changes, and team member scheduling.
- Manage store finances, including register counts, bank withdrawals, armored car pickups, safe deposits, change orders, and bookkeeping.
- Plan and implement merchandising strategies, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Ensure store cleanliness and maintenance, respond to emergencies, and manage staff training and development.
- Support pharmacy and clinic performance, including analyzing performance indicators and collaborating with managers.
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities to drive store and pharmacy growth.
- Manage team member performance, career progression, and compensation, fostering a positive work environment.
- Participate in training and professional development, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
People and Performance Management
- Assigns responsibilities, sets goals, observes performance, provides feedback, and recognizes team members.
- Makes hiring, promotion, and termination decisions, addresses issues, and engages with Employee Relations and Human Resources.
- Develops performance plans and monitors compliance with corporate policies and laws.
- Ensures compliance with all corporate policies and maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.
Training and Personal Development
- Attends company and on-the-job training to improve skills and productivity.
- Completes required training programs, including pharmacy training, and pursues certifications as required by state law.
- Maintains high personal standards and seeks self-development through continuous learning and practice.
