Job Responsibilities/Tasks
- Maintains and improves customer service through reminders, training, and action plans.
- Greet customers and clinic patients, offer assistance, and model customer service best practices.
- Resolve customer complaints and assist with special needs.
- Supervise store and pharmacy operations, including staffing, inventory, and financial management.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, including alcohol and tobacco sales.
- Manage store and grounds cleanliness and maintain emergency response protocols.
- Implement and manage store operations based on District Manager feedback.
- Train and develop team members, set goals, and monitor performance.
- Manage employee compensation, promotions, and terminations.
- Communicate with district, corporate, and community stakeholders.
Business Performance Management
- Analyze financial and performance data to increase sales and control costs.
- Review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and discuss with district management.
- Analyze pharmacy and clinic performance indicators and collaborate with managers.
People and Performance Management
- Assign responsibilities, set goals, observe performance, and provide feedback.
- Manage employee career progression and training.
- Make hiring, promotion, and termination decisions.
- Engage with Employee Relations and Human Resources as needed.
- Follow performance improvement plans and communicate regularly with team members.
Training and Personal Development
- Participate in company and on-the-job training to improve skills and productivity.
- Attend training requested by District Management and corporate.
- Pursue pharmacy technician registration/licensure and PTCB or ExCPT certification.
- Monitor own performance, set high personal standards, and seek self-development.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience, or
- High School Diploma/GED and 5 years retail management experience.
- Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state, or pharmacy assistant in WA state, or licensed RPh.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including extended days, evenings, and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- PTCB or ExCPT Certification.
- Three years retail management experience, including supervising others, managing, and assigning work.
- Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state, or pharmacy assistant in WA state, or licensed RPh.
Benefits
The current salary range for this position is $50,000 - $120,000. The actual salary within this range that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience, and other relevant factors.
