Job Responsibilities/Tasks
- Maintains and improves customer service through reminders, training, and action plans.
- Greet customers and clinic patients, offer assistance, and model customer service best practices.
- Resolve customer complaints and assist with special needs.
- Supervise store and pharmacy operations, including staffing, inventory, and security.
- Manage store finances, including cash counts, withdrawals, and bookkeeping.
- Plan and implement merchandising strategies, manage inventory, and execute feedback from District Managers.
- Ensure store cleanliness and maintain repairs and maintenance.
- Comply with laws and regulations, including alcohol and tobacco sales, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Train and supervise team members, set goals, and provide feedback.
- Develop and implement performance plans and handle hiring, promotions, and terminations.
- Communicate with district, corporate, and the community, and participate in community events.
People and Performance Management
- Manages team member performance, sets goals, and provides feedback.
- Monitors and ensures timely completion of training programs.
- Develops employee performance plans and follows up according to deadlines.
- Manages employee career progression and compensates team members appropriately.
- Promotes teamwork and motivates team members through regular communication and engagement.
- Maintains compliance with all corporate policies and applicable employment laws.
Training and Personal Development
- Participates in company and on-the-job training to improve skills and productivity.
- Attends training requested by District Management and corporate, including Walgreens School of Operations completion within six months.
- Obtains pharmacy technician registration/licensure as required by state law.
- Sets high personal standards and seeks self-development through continuous learning and practice.
