Store Manager

Role Overview: Responsible for managing all store employees and overseeing daily operations to ensure effective execution of processes including staffing, inventory management, merchandising, customer service, and safety compliance. Key Responsibilities Recruit, select, train, evaluate, and retain qualified staff, ensuring proper staffing levels and adherence to labor laws.Lead performance management by conducting evaluations, addressing gaps, and making pay or advancement recommendations.Maintain store operations by opening and closing the store, managing inventory levels, and controlling damages, markdowns, and cash handling.Ensure merchandise presentation, pricing, signage, and stock levels meet company standards.Analyze operating statements to identify trends, control expenses, and minimize shrinkage.Provide excellent customer service and create a safe, organized shopping environment.Follow company policies, complete documentation accurately, and promote safety and security protocols. Qualifications & Skills Ability to interpret manuals, perform math calculations, and operate cash registers.Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling procedures.Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Experience in retail management and a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.Bilingual skills may be preferred at some locations. Physical & Working Conditions: Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 55 pounds, occasional climbing, and driving are required in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise and exposure to weather conditions.
