Store Manager

Role Overview: Responsible for managing store operations, staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to ensure efficient processes, excellent customer service, and store presentation. Key Responsibilities: Recruit, select, and retain qualified employees in compliance with labor laws.Provide training, conduct performance reviews, and address development needs.Make staffing, scheduling, and opening/closing store decisions.Analyze financial statements to identify business trends and control expenses.Oversee inventory management, ordering, and merchandise presentation.Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and security protocols.Ensure cash handling accuracy and adherence to security procedures.Deliver superior customer service and foster a positive shopping environment.Complete all documentation accurately and timely. Qualifications & Skills: Ability to interpret safety and operating documents.Mathematical proficiency and cash handling knowledge.Experience with inventory, merchandising, and retail management practices.Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Knowledge of hiring, counseling, and legal compliance practices.Preferred high school diploma; management experience in retail is a plus.Bilingual skills may be preferred at some locations. Physical & Working Conditions: Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds. Occasional climbing, outdoor exposure, and driving are required in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise.
