Store Manager

Role Overview Responsible for managing store operations and leading staff to ensure effective implementation of processes including ordering, stocking, presentation, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Recruit, select, train, and evaluate employees, ensuring proper staffing and compliance with labor laws.Provide performance feedback, conduct evaluations, and address gaps through coaching or disciplinary actions.Make recommendations on employee pay and advancement.Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and organization, including opening and closing duties.Analyze financial statements to identify trends and control expenses.Manage inventory levels, ordering, and merchandise presentation according to company standards.Ensure cash handling accuracy, security, and adherence to cash control procedures.Deliver superior customer service and foster a welcoming shopping environment.Follow policies and complete required documentation timely. Qualifications & Skills Ability to interpret operational documents and perform basic math calculations.Knowledge of cash handling, inventory management, and merchandising practices.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Experience in recruiting, hiring, and employee development, with knowledge of legal compliance.Organizational skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.Preferred: Bilingual Spanish speakers. Experience & Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Management experience in retail is advantageous. Physical & Working Conditions Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting objects up to 55 pounds.Use of equipment like scanners, pricing guns, and carts.Occasional outdoor exposure and driving for store-related tasks.Fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels.
