Store Manager

Role Overview: Responsible for managing store operations, employee recruitment, training, and performance, ensuring effective implementation of processes including ordering, stocking, merchandising, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Recruit, select, train, evaluate, and retain qualified staff in compliance with laws and policies.Ensure proper staffing, open/close store operations, and maintain safety and security standards.Analyze financial statements to identify business trends, control expenses, and manage inventory levels.Oversee merchandise presentation, stock levels, and inventory accuracy.Uphold cash handling, security, and loss prevention policies.Lead customer service efforts and maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.Ensure compliance with company policies, complete documentation accurately, and provide leadership to staff. Qualifications & Skills Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, cash handling, and safety procedures.Ability to interpret documents, perform math calculations, and use cash register systems.Experience in retail management and a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.Bilingual skills may be advantageous. Physical & Work Environment: Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds; occasional climbing and outside weather exposure. Fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels.
