Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing beauty sales team
- Lead by example in customer service, sales behaviors, and brand standards
- Conduct regular performance conversations, coaching sessions, and evaluations
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountability-driven team culture
- Create schedules and manage payroll efficiently based on business needs
- Drive store sales to achieve and exceed business goals and KPIs
- Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales trends to identify opportunities for growth
- Implement strategies to increase productivity, client retention, and average transaction value
- Lead team selling behaviors including upselling, cross-selling, and clienteling
- Partner with brand representatives and vendors to maximize in-store events and launches
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure every client receives a personalized beauty experience
- Support product recommendations, makeup application, and beauty consultations
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively
- Maintain strong product knowledge across skincare, makeup, fragrance, and haircare categories
- Ensure visual merchandising standards and brand presentation are maintained at all times
- Oversee inventory management, replenishment, and stock organization
- Maintain operational excellence including POS systems, cash handling, opening/closing procedures, and compliance standards
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the store
- Support local marketing initiatives, events, and social media activities to drive traffic and engagement
- Build relationships within the local community to increase brand awareness and customer loyalty
Qualifications
- 3+ years of retail management experience, preferably in beauty, cosmetics, luxury, or specialty retail
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive sales results
- Strong passion for beauty, skincare, makeup, and customer service
- Experience with retail KPIs, sales reporting, and business analysis
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced retail environment
- Experience with POS systems and inventory management
- Social media and event experience is a plus
- Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
