Overview
You’ll be a driving force behind Staples’ retail success. You’ll lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, grow sales, and build strong community relationships. In your first year, you’ll focus on team development, operational excellence, and driving results across print services, tech support, and business solutions. You’ll be expected to lead by example, foster a culture of accountability and innovation, and ensure the store is ready for business every day.

Essential skills and experience:
1+ year progressively responsible store management experience in a retail environment as a General/Store Manager
Store Operations experience with analysis, planning, financial acumen and driving results
Experience creating a customer centric environment and working in a consultative selling environment that provides customers a total solution
Experience developing a team in operational excellence to drive profitable YOY sales and margins
Ability to lift/move materials in the 10-50 pound range, climb ladders, stand and walk continuously
Preferred skills and experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
Ability to engage with the community and network & support small business customers
