Store Manager
GENERAL FUNCTION
The Store Manager is responsible for leading their team on the sales floor, delivering a positive customer experience, meeting sales key performance indicators (KPIs), and merchandising the store to meet brand standards. Additionally, the Store Manager will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and developing their team.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversees all sales and operational activities of the store to ensure weekly and monthly sales objectives are met.
- Recruits, onboards, and develops qualified talent, preferably with experience in a luxury retail environment.
- Coaches associates by providing clear, motivating and constructive performance feedback in a timely manner.
- Accurately staffs the store to consistently deliver an exceptional customer service experience.
- Provides recognition to associates for positive performance.
- Maintains brand standards of presentation and operations.
- Continuously monitors the business by analyzing KPIs and implementing action plans accordingly.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate product inventory.
- Drives participation in assigned monthly training courses.
- Effectively manages all employee relations concerns, including time and attendance, unsatisfactory performance, and asset protection.
- Guides customers in selecting frames and lenses that are best suited for their lifestyle, wardrobe, and/or prescription.
- Ability to move boxes weighing up to 20 pounds around the store for various needs.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for duration of shift.
- Additional responsibilities as needed.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Retail management experience, preferably within a luxury selling environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Financial acumen
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends.
Total Rewards
- Pay Range: $32.01 - $55.42
- Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
- Additional compensation may include a competitive bonus and/or commission plan.
