About the role
The Store Manager role is responsible for providing leadership to ensure the store delivers outstanding customer service, meets all operating objectives and financial goals, and follows company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain exemplary customer service within the store and build relationships with customers
- Establish a strong customer service culture
- Implement strategies to help meet store goals and objectives
- Recruit, develop, and motivate store team members who exceed internal and external customer expectations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Analyze financial statements and trends to increase and maximize sales
- Supervise the team's activities, including but not limited to transaction processing, maintenance of cash drawers, and cash handling procedures
- Coach and develop the team per career development plans set by the District Manager
- Market within the community to increase market share and store revenues
- Resolve customer complaints if they occur
- Control labor hours, cash, and store audits
- Review all Operations Bulletins, News communications, and training to ensure the team understands current policies, procedures, and any changes
- Help maintain a neat and clean store environment for our customers and team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A minimum of two years of management experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, and restaurant
- Ability, willingness, and comfort to engage with customers
- Strong desire to exceed corporate initiatives and inspire excellence in a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
- High-energy, collaborative leadership expertise
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Must be honest and have integrity
- English fluency is required
- English/Spanish bilingual is a plus
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. with little assistance
- Must be able to work in restrictive spaces and maintain concentration in a busy environment with moderate to high noise levels
- Must manage several projects at one time and handle frequent interruptions to meet the needs and requests of customers
- English fluency is required
- English/Spanish bilingual is a plus
