Store Manager

Role Overview The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all store operations, including staffing, training, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service, to ensure optimal store performance and compliance with policies. Key Responsibilities Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate employees, ensuring proper staffing and performance management.Manage store processes such as ordering, receiving, stocking, and presentation of merchandise.Analyze financial and operational data to identify sales trends, control expenses, and prevent shrinkage.Ensure inventory accuracy, maintain store cleanliness, safety, and security standards.Lead customer service efforts and promote a positive shopping environment.Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols, completing all required documentation. Qualifications & Skills Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and cash handling procedures.Ability to interpret documents, perform basic math, and operate cash registers.Experience in retail management is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is strongly recommended.Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 55 pounds; frequent standing and walking are required.Preferred candidates may be bilingual in Spanish. Work Environment The role involves fast-paced, physical activity including standing, bending, lifting, and occasional use of ladders, with exposure to varying weather conditions and moderate noise levels.
