Store Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Store Manager who will lead our team in achieving sales targets, recruiting, developing, and managing employee performance. The ideal candidate will be a retail maverick, passionate about creating a vibrant in-store experience, and committed to fostering a collaborative and engaged team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the store achieves its sales plan and/or comp sales goals
• Recruit, develop, and retain a team that collaborates and is passionate about running the store
• Create buzz and engage customers through social media, store apps, and clienteling
• Operate a sound business by balancing organizational structure, delegation, and customer-first selling practices
• Communicate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback
• Run sales reports and use data to guide strategies for hitting sales targets
• Maintain inventory and control spending responsibly
• Merchandise the store compellingly using planograms and launch promotions on time
• Build a bench of equally talented and passionate staff through mentorship, recognition, and feedback

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience
• Skills in communication, recruiting, and operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising)
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent; a degree is preferred
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise product, and pack/unpack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
• Open-minded and inquisitive about pop culture fandoms and music trends
