Store Manager

About the role

We're looking for a Store Manager who can bring the fandom to life. Your primary responsibility is to ensure your store hits its sales targets and comp sales goals. You'll also recruit, develop, and retain a team, leading them through social media engagement, customer service, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure store achieves sales plan and/or comp sales goals
• Recruit, develop, and retain a passionate team
• Create buzz and customer engagement through social media, store apps, and clienteling
• Lead an operationally sound business with a balance of structure, delegation, and customer-first practices
• Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll, schedules, and external factors affecting business
• Communicate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback
• Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy
• Mentor and recognize a bench of equally talented staff
• Merchandise the store compellingly, launching promotions on time
• Adapt to new technologies and company policies

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience
• Skills in communication, recruiting, and operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising)
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Open-minded and inquisitive about pop culture fandoms and trends
• Able to navigate the store, merchandise product, and pack/unpack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• Willingness to adapt to new technologies and catch curveballs

Benefits

BoxLunch offers a competitive hourly rate of $24.55 - $30.70 per hour, with other factors determining the final salary for potential new hires.
