About the role
We're looking for a Store Manager who can bring the fandom to life. Your responsibilities include leading the store to achieve sales targets, recruiting and retaining a passionate team, and managing operations effectively.
Responsibilities
- Ensure store achieves sales plan and/or comp sales goals
- Recruit, develop, and retain a super collaborative and passionate team
- Create buzz and customer engagement through social media, store web applications, and clienteling
- Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, schedules, and external factors affecting business
- Communicate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback
- Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy
- Maintain a strong merchandise presentation and launch promotions on time
- Build a bench of equally talented, passionate staff through mentorship, recognition, and feedback
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience
- Skills in communication, recruiting, and operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising)
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Open-minded and inquisitive about pop culture fandoms and trends
- Able to navigate the store, merchandise product, and pack/unpack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Able to work independently and adapt to new technologies
Skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Team management and leadership abilities
- Ability to manage payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention
- Strong merchandising and promotional planning skills
