About the role

We're looking for a Store Manager who can bring the fandom to life. Your responsibilities include leading the store to achieve sales targets, recruiting and retaining a passionate team, and managing operations effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure store achieves sales plan and/or comp sales goals
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a super collaborative and passionate team
  • Create buzz and customer engagement through social media, store web applications, and clienteling
  • Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, schedules, and external factors affecting business
  • Communicate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback
  • Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy
  • Maintain a strong merchandise presentation and launch promotions on time
  • Build a bench of equally talented, passionate staff through mentorship, recognition, and feedback

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience
  • Skills in communication, recruiting, and operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising)
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Open-minded and inquisitive about pop culture fandoms and trends
  • Able to navigate the store, merchandise product, and pack/unpack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Able to work independently and adapt to new technologies

Skills

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team management and leadership abilities
  • Ability to manage payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention
  • Strong merchandising and promotional planning skills
